For generations, the Thar Desert has stood as an epic symbol of bravery, chivalry, and timeless romance. Sura Jaisalmer Camp was founded to bring back the golden age of royal caravans that once halted beneath the starlit skies of western Rajasthan.

Each evening at our camp is a grand cultural spectacle. Master musicians belonging to the hereditary Manganiyar and Langa musical communities sing soul-stirring ballads of hero warriors like Pabuji and Ramdevji, accompanied by traditional Kamaicha, Sarangi, and Khartal. Kalbelia folk dancers perform daring serpentine acrobatics and balance flaming brass pots on their heads around the campfire.

Our royal kitchen serves authentic Rajasthani heritage dishes: slow-cooked Dal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri with wild desert berries, and succulent Laal Maas, all cooked using earthen slow-fire techniques.

Check-in & Check-out Timings

Check-in: 03:00 PM (With Royal Dhol & Tikka Welcome) | Check-out: 10:30 AM (After Morning Buffet Breakfast). Early check-in or luggage storage is complimentary upon request.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made 7 days prior to arrival date receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made between 3 to 6 days receive 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Children & Extra Bed Policy

Children up to 5 years stay complimentary. Children between 6 to 11 years with extra mattress are charged INR 1,500/night including all meals and safaris.

Travel Advisory & Climate

Desert days are pleasantly warm and sunny, while nights in the Thar desert can be crisp and chilly (especially October through February). We recommend carrying light woolens or shawls for the evening cultural programs.
